The DMG is rather minimalistic, and it could be a tool to only use on one specific game. It is only a \"one use\" recipe, but I don't think it will have that problem. I just wish it was more of a high fidelity, book that was like better quality, be it that it was more full of color, or better quality paper, or was the cheaper book with a translucent stock and better binding, or something else. I am starting to notice though, there are 3rd party campaigns and supplements that have their own campaign books, like The Dragon Age series. But the thing that really makes my eyes bulge is when I am looking at the original chunks, in the absence of the original book, and immediately see that it is really the same, just the better quality versions. Which might actually be good, because 3rd parties can get the book before the official one does, and they can get a better quality copy that is still the same contents, and think about the future of new releases and revisions....
